This year began a new tradition in our family – a trip to the pumpkin patch. Every year I look at pictures of sweet families at the pumpkin patch and smile. This year I get to smile at my own pictures! :) I am so thankful for my sweet little family. They truly mean the world to me.
Dave was off work on Tuesday (I know I said I hated the ER, but I’m REALLY liking this schedule now! :) So, after CB’s morning nap, I dressed her in the dress I picked out specifically for this day, and we headed to the Trinity Pumpkin Patch, as a family! It was the perfect day and there was hardly anyone at the Pumpkin patch that day so Cori Belle was able to enjoy every part of it!
At first she was a little nervous looking at those huge pumpkins. But, soon she came around. Here is the FIRST picture we took of her. I can just hear her now, “Mommy, why is this pumpkin grayish-white? I thought you told me that pumpkins were orange. Weird!” ha ha!
“Okay, mom. If you say it’s okay, then I’ll touch it!” :)
Just sitting and taking it all in. She did that for the first 20 minutes or so. There were SO MANY pumpkins!
Once she felt comfortable though, there was no stopping her. She is full of exploration! Remember that bear crawl I told you about? Well, here it is! So cute!!
She sat on a few pumpkins…
Took a picture with mom.
Then, we tried the slide!!
And, of course, no day is complete without some walking!! I just LOVE that face she is making. So determined and so cute!
Here are a few of my FAVORITES from the day…
We had such a good time and CB even got to take 2 pumpkins home with her. A baby pumpkin just for her and a pumpkin to carve tomorrow at a Pumpkin Party we are attending. Can’t wait! :)
Until next time…
